When troubleshooting a swing door operator there are some simple steps to follow. We have collected the steps to make your work easier.
Step 1 - identify if an error code is present by the flashing LED light, count the number of flashes and check the error code list that you can find in the installation manual. Please note that if the LED is off, keep your eyes on the LED for at least 10 seconds to identify if KILL is active.
Step 2 - Check that the installation position matches the manual. Incorrect installation measurements can cause error code.
Step 3 - Check and exercise (plug in and out) motor connector and encoder cable (at both ends). Check and exercise all DIP switches.
Step 4 - Disconnect all accessories and external connections such as sensors, radar, locks, fire alarms, access systems, etc. Be sure to reset any jumpers that may be required.
