On April 11, 2024, the big day finally arrived: our very first kick-off event for ASSA ABLOY Distribution partners in Germany. Motto: "Let's Shape the Future Together." The Flemingshotel in Wuppertal was the place for our conference.
The day started with a short personal introduction by our Indirect Sales Manager Thomas Stegmüller and the General Manager for ASSA ABLOY Distribution Andreas Schultz. Our Country Manager PDS Frank Kaptain followed up and continued the presentation.
Our colleagues from the Swing & Sliding doors product units Jérôme Bally, Bodo Schulte-Ellerbrock as well as Fabian Portehaut shared the latest updates and news regarding products. We put in some time to get to know each other to share ideas and exchange success stories.
After the successful conference, we took a bus to the event workshop. Participants were divided into small groups, each given the opportunity to craft a knife or other ornamental steel pieces, perhaps destined for the garden. The energy was high and positive when we were creating our very own souvenirs!
The next morning, we visited our factory and took an exciting tour at RECORD Türautomation GmbH in Wuppertal.
The feedback? Very positive! We are all looking forward to doing it again in two years!
